A new product called 6M Profit Method was released this week and caused quite a stir in the online marketing world...
While I didn't directly promote this product to my list, I did let people know about a free recording related to the product, which I found both helpful and inspiring. As I've written here before, I think "mindset" is as important to your business success as is knowledge about business, work ethic, or anything else. You have to know something can be done before you can do it.
I'm the first to admit that I haven't seen 6M Profit Method, but I have heard the free recording and I think it's worth your time, about 28 minutes, to check it out.
But is the full program for you? Hard to say...
One guy I know came out with an "honest review" which said it was geared for newbies. If that's you, it may be a perfect match. Even if it's not, I think there is something to be learned from everything... Maybe that you know more than you think! :)
A good friend of mine, also an online marketer, is really into 6M Profit Method...not for the initial package though. She got an advance copy of it and had nothing bad to say, but it's the followup and ongoing coaching that she thinks makes it such a bargain.
Again, I think the free recording on "mindset" is worth a listen, but my point for mentioning the full system here is that I think it's a great catalyst for further discussion and thought on the entire online marketing industry. Questions like...
- How much of this industry is based on hype?
- How much of this industry is friends helping friends? Would you ever see an "honest review" for one of these products?
- What responsibilities do online marketers have to make sure their products get in the hands of the right people and weed out those people who won't benefit from them? Does this industry take advantage of newbies?
- Is the "I'm in other markets, but I can't tell you because you'll copy me and take away my business" comment we hear all the time just something for "how to make money" gurus to hide behind?
- Even if these guys have never made a dime in non-IM markets, can we still learn from them?
I'm not here to bash anybody...just to open discussion. And I'll have more posts on this topic soon, so subscribe to my list if you're interested in following them. Until then, feel free to add any thoughts in the comments section...
