To me, the audition videos for The Next Internet Millionaire were more interesting than the show itself. They certainly did a better job of showing the contestants' personalities and project management skills.

Personality is everything. It's the foundation of marketing.
How so many of these "gurus" online have done so well without any personality is beyond me. Perhaps it's because only recently has audio and video come into play. That's what is going to separate the men from the boys here.
What a great opportunity for you.
You can fake something on paper, when you're only touching one sense of a prospect, but when you add other senses, like you do with audio, or video, or live speaking, things get a little more tricky. You've got to hit everything...look good, smell good, sound good, feel good.
Whether you're looking to get on a television show, get a job, or do well with your marketing, my advice is to be yourself. Stop copying the fat white guys in the three-piece suits. And stop copying the "rebel" people, too. Most are the same thing and they'd wear clown suits, if they thought you'd pay more attention to them.
